PREFECTS RECOGNITION NIGHT 2011

It was a perfect night for the prefects of the school to have a recognition night bash at the Holiday Inn last week. It was carried out as a form of recognition for all the prefects who had carried out their duty diligently and without fear or favour. The bash was sponsored by the PTA of the school. Kudos to all the prefects and also the teachers-advisor. Photos showing the event.

I know that you are all the bees' knees
And of course the hardest to please
But I am just as good it's true
Me helping out is the best for you
In all my subjects I do my best
In all my work and every test
You see I have a dream
That our school is as one, a team
I want to make something of myself
as I am great I act, dance and
Sing prefect is my fate
I want to be different and make a change
However small, however strange
You only live once and I am living well
I only get one chance to tell
I am well experienced in schools
I've been to three; I have all the much needed
Tools I know that this school is proud of its name
I can maintain its glory and fame
The teaching methods are suited for most of us
However sometimes there is too much fuss
Learning should be easy
An overflow of words makes me queasy
No matter how hard I concentrate
It's never quite laid on a plate
I understand a deadline
But too much haste
I decline We need to be spoon fed, we probably already are
However a little more help will take the students far
Although it's not all bad in school
The atmosphere is nice and cool I feel safe, at home
I feel free, not scared to roam
We a r e f amily we work together
Whether we struggle or whether we're clever
I want to move the school forward for better
In every decision every link letter
I know it sounds hard now
But it will work with me as I know how
We should take small steps to reach something big
Even if I have to hunt, track or dig
My ideas aren't original their what every one wants and needs
Except I can make it happen as I have the seeds
This school can bloom and thrive
If you are willing to take the dive
It's completely your choice
HIRE or FIRE I want this job for all the right reasons
It has nothing to do with staying inside in those winter seasons
I don't like moaning at others so no worries there
I am simply doing it because I care
I am interested in doing things to help out
I know what I'm doing, what it is about
I am responsible and mature
If you take me on you can rest assured
I am the missing piece to the perfect set
I'll make the changes you won't forget
My friends and family, all say the same
I'm a good player by the rules of the game
As you can see I am passionate
I am ready for the journey afoot
And of course the hardest to please
