In conjunction with the country's 54th Independence Day 2011, the school is flying the national flag, the Jalur Gemilang everywhere lending it a sight to behold and in festive mood. The students also decorated their classrooms trying to outdo one another. Many activites had been lined up for the students to partake. Attractive prizes were also up for grabs for activities like recitation of poems, singing of patriotic songs, quiz and many other activities. Photos showing the school draped with the national flags.
