WOMEN CRISIS CENTRE TALK
Officers from the Women Crisis Centre paid the school a visit this morning under the patronage of the Counselling Club. The students were given a talk on psychoanalysis and sexual harassment.

The library recently organised an Anti-dadah poster drawing competition. The winners were announced this morning. The school's Senior Assistant for Administration gave away the prizes to the winners.

The school was bestowed with "ANUGERAH SEKOLAH CEMERLANG SPM TAHUN 2009" together with 20 other schools in the Timur Laut district. Mr. Gan Hua Beng, the school principal accepted the award on behalf of the school.

ANTI SMOKING CAMPAIGN
Officers from the Health Department, Penang visited the school morning to brief the students on the danger of smoking. There was also an exhibition at the school canteen. The anti-smoking campaign was organised by the school counselling unit.

NKRA SIT TOOLKIT BRIEFING
This morning saw a group of more than 30 school principals attending a briefing facilitated by an officer from PPD Timur Laut at the school meeting room. The topic was related to NKRA SIT toolkit application.
