This afternoon saw the school principal Mr Seah briefing the teachers on the PBPPP which is the bi-annual assessment of teachers during the staff meeting. The briefing took place in the meeting room.

This morning saw the school having its 43rd Edition and also the final annual sport at the school field. Many former students also came back to witness the sport. Despite being the final annual sport before the school ceases to exist starting next year, it was nevertheless a special one too. This is because for the first time form six students also took part in the open event.

This morning saw the school playing host to this programme aptly called "Program Peningkatan BM Tingkatan 6 " for 2016. Four schools comprising Haji Zainul Abidin, TARP, Al-Mashoor (L), and PFS came with the teachers.

This afternoon saw new lower six students being led to an ice breaking session by the seniors at the reading corner near the carpark.

WELCOME TO HJ ZAINUL ABIDIN COLLEGE

Lower Six science students were ushered into the multimedia room of the school to listen to briefings regarding the science subjects offered in the school. Science teachers were on hand to provide more information to the students.

This morning saw the new lower six students divided into two groups science and humanities. The humanities students had a briefing on BM subject at the lecture hall in Block C.

This morning saw many new lower six students coming to the school to register and checking out the school in terms of teaching staff and infrastructure. Some registered and sat throughout listening to the briefings held in the lecture hall.

Yesterday saw Pn. Tay giving the teachers of the school an inhouse training on KBAT or "Kemahiran Berfikir Aras Tinggi. In English it is called HOTS or "Higher  Order Thinking Skills" The Inhouse training was held in the meeting room.
