This morning saw teachers preparing in the pantry finger food and vegetarian food for all teachers and staff to savour. It was more for fellowship and thank you for the food and kind thoughts.

This morning saw the students sitting for their SPM exam waiting patiently to be allowed to enter the exam hall. It was raining and they were waiting at the corridor in front of the counselling room. The BM paper starts at 8.00 am.

TO ALL STUDENTS TAKING SPM AND STPM 2016

Yesterday saw the PKBM  (Pasukan Kadet Bersatu Malaysia)  having its annual lunch at the corridor of the school. It was an appreciation lunch for the students.

At noon the teachers in charge of SPM 2016 gave the students words of advice and motivation before they sit for the SPM exam on Monday 7 November 2016.

It was followed by words of encouragement by the admin and other teachers. The session ended with a photo session. The school takes this opportunity to wish all the form 5 students good luck and all the best in the coming SPM examinations.

This morning saw the form 5 students gathering at the multi-media room to attend a BM motivational talk organised by the BM Panel of the school. The students were in apt attention during the session.

This morning teachers who will be celebrating Deepavali gave the teachers and staff a treat at the school canteen. On behalf of the teachers and staff a big thank you to those who so graciously sponsored the food and also the kind thoughts of celebrating The festival of Lights with all the members of the school.

On 16 October 2016, The Buddhist Society of the school organised a motivational programme for  its form 5 and form 6 members at the Than Lin Buddhist Society.  It was a half-day programme chaperoned by Madam Hong.

The school in collaboration with USM organised a programme named "PROGAM SOLAT HAJAT & SEHARI BERSAMA MAHASISWA USM  2016" held in USM from 21st October 2016 to 22nd October 2016.

A total of 60 students both form 5 and 6 attended the session which was a motivational program for the students who will be sitting for their SPM and STPM exams respectively. To all the teachers accompanying the students, a big thank you to you.

The State Education Department of Penang organised a "treatment programme for SPM History" or "Rawatan Sejarah SPM" for form 5 students who are weak in the History subject. The half day programme was held at Masyarakat Penyayang on 12 October 2016

Last night the school hosted the last and final dinner for all the teachers and staff. It was an emotional gathering of sort and many teachers and staff turned up for the occasion held at the E & O hotel.

Many took the chance to sing and the food and ambience were great. The school principal thanked everyone for attending the final dinner before the school turned to sixth form college by 1.1.2017.

This morning saw the school principal Mr Seah presenting certificates to students with full attendance for the month of July 2016 to September 2016 during the official school assembly at the multi-purpose hall.

Last  evening saw form six students having an inaugural Prom Night for 2016. It was an enjoyable prom Night with a short opening speech by the principal and filled with games and presentations plus lucky draw.

The event was held at the Georgetown City Hotel. A big thank you to the organisers with the guidance from the teachers.

This morning saw teachers and students doing sport together to celebrate the National Sport Day 2016 with an aerobic and followed by free flow of games. Food and drinks were given to the students after the event.

This afternoon saw form 3 and form 5 students saying farewell to the teachers and also seeking forgiveness for the mischief they had done while in school and also asking for blessing for the upcoming examinations.

The event was held at the multi-purpose hall of the school. The students were also given a fail and stationeries for their exams. After that the students were feted to a simple lunch. Photos showing the event.

This morning saw Pn. Loh from PTPL college coming to the school to give the PT3 and SPM students a motivational talk and a "last push" to prepare the students for the impending examinations. The session was held in the school multi-purpose hall.

This morning saw some officers from JPN and PPD visiting the school to get feedback and collecting data from  the school regarding the school's performance in public exams and also the programmes carry out by the school.

TO ALL MUSLIM TEACHERS, STAFF AND STUDENTS

This morning saw 40 form six students taking part in the Penang State cross-country championship held in Seberang Perai. Out of a total of 1343 participants, three of the form 6 students managed to get number 13th , 27 th, 29 th and 35th placing. They are Ikmal Lokman 6RK2, Jeffrey Tan RK1, Kelvin Low RS1 and Mohd Asrul of AK1.

Congratulations and thank you to the teachers who took them their by bus led by Pn. Siti Zubaidah.

This morning saw teachers, staff and students of the school coming to the school to take part in the inaugural Cleanathon programme proposed by the PTA of the school. Classes and all the rooms in the school were cleaned, mopped and swept clean. 

Food and drinks were given to all who came including MBPP workers who came in two trucks with all the tools needed.

This morning saw Mr Soon the marketing executive from The Star publications calling on the school to promote The Star newspaper and also the 2016 Fit For Life Run at SPICE. It was held at the school canteen.

Yesterday saw the English Panel giving an inhouse training to the English Language teachers of the school in the form of Professional Discourse at the meeting room. It was conducted by panel head Madam ArutChelvi on teaching literature and item analysis.

CLEANATHON 2016

This morning saw the official closing of the month long National Day celebration with a speech from the school principal Mr Seah and presentation of prizes and hampers to the best poster, quiz winners and classroom decorations.

CUTI  PERTENGAHAN  PENGGAL  KEDUA 2 016   DARI 10.9.2016 HINGGA 18.9.2016

This morning saw Cikgu Mohd Sharizat doing a microteaching on form 3 History using the 21st Century classroom methodology in form 3 Bakti. The lesson was observed my several school administrators and teachers.

This afternoon also saw a counsellor from a neighbouring coming to the school to give a talk on Stress Management to sixth formers of the school at the lecture hall. It was an invitation from the school counsellor.

This afternoon saw Ms Low the school counsellor giving the lower six students a talk on stress management. It was held at the audio-visual room  of the school.

This afternoon saw PRS Club having its inaugural Zumba session in school much to the delight of its members. The teachers-advisor were also present to boost the morale of the members.

The Zumba session was held in the school canteen cum multi-purpose hall. 

This afternoon saw officers from the State District Education Department coming to the school to give the teachers an inhouse training via microteaching for the BM subject.

Teachers acted as students and the class went on for two periods where 21st century methods were introduced to the teachers.

JADUAL PEPERIKSAAN SPM 2016

JADUAL PEPERIKSAAN STPM 2016 BAGI PENGGAL 1,2 DAN 3

This afternoon saw Pn Zaharah and her assistant from Cuepacs Care visiting the school and giving teachers a talk on Cuepacs Care and PA at the meeting room after the weekly meet. The talk was beneficial to those considering taking up the Hospitalization and Surgical Insurance Card and Personal Accident Protection coverage.

The sixth formers of the school took to have a camp on the eve of the national Day at the school compound. Many acctivities were carried them to foster unity and fellowship among the students.

On the 18th August 2016 Dr Koay SS and Miss Chai took a group of 18 form 6 students for the 10th Innovation Pitch Challenge at USM. The purpose of the challenge is to expose the students to science and technology in the related field and also showcase of the latest research done.

Yesterday saw the school co-operative society having its 34th AGM at the multipurpose hall. The meeting was called to order at 1.15pm and ended an hour later. No divident was declared and there was  no honorarium for the committee members.

Yesterday, 40 sixth formers with four teachers went  to Pantai Keracut to do a voluntary spring cleaning of the area. It was organised by the PTE or Persatuan Tingkatan Enam for the programme Go Green. Bags of trash were collected at the end of the day.

This morning saw Mr Roland from PPD Timur Laut coming to the school to give a motivational session for form 5 students on SPM History. The session lasted about an hour and it was held in the multimedia room of the school.
