Wednesday saw the presentation of donation to a canteen worker whose husband was sick. It came to the knowledge of the school and Mr. Lee took the initiative to collect donation from all the teachers and staff of the school.

 It was presented to the recipient on Wednesday at the school canteen. It was in fact a noble act of human humility and compassion towards fellow being.

Yesterday night saw a very good turn out of teachers and staff to the school 2014 annual dinner held at the Vistana Hotel. It was organised by the staff room organisation or SRO.

Yesterday morning saw the Resos Panel and Perdagangan Panel collaborated and organised a talk for  the benefit of the students. They invited an officer from Consumers' Association of Penang (CAP) to deliver a talk on consumerism.

The talk was held in the meeting room. Prior to that the students were ushered to the canteen for breakfast. Photos showing the event.

Yesterday saw promotors from Amaniz Management Sdn Bhd coming to the school to promote their latest software aptly named "CariKata" during the weekly staff meeting. It was quite a useful tool especially for students with its multiple uses and dictionaries.

This year saw the Reading Camp or "Kem Membaca" being carried out on two days during the assembly. The first was reading of old newspapers by the students and then followed by a quiz.

The second session was a quiz on proverbs in Bahasa Malaysia. Prizes were also given to each student who gave the correct answer. The school principal also read a simple speech to officiate the event.

Last Thursday all form 5 students congregated at the school canteen at 11.50 am to listen to the final briefing on the dos and don'ts before, during and after the SPM exam. All the admin and discipline teachers took turn to address and advise the students. The principal wrapped up the briefing with a short but memorable speech.

Last Thursday morning saw a team of 5 Intellers arriving at the school to conduct their programme under the Corporate Responsibility Programme for the year 2014. Before then programme, Intellers and students were treated to a scrumptious breakfast at the canteen and later adjourned to the computer lab to continue with the robotics programme.

After the session again they were feted at the canteen with a delectable lunch. The school wishes to thank the Intellers for taking their time off to conduct this programme. Photos showing the event.

Last Wednesday afternoon also saw teachers of the school having an inhouse training on 1M1S at the meeting room before proceeding to the courts to have the practical session there. A few of the teachers who went for the respective courses stood as facilitators.

Last Wednesday saw the History Panel of the school organising a motivational workshop for all the form 5 students who will be sitting for the SPM exam the following week.
