TO ALL MUSLIM TEACHERS, STAFF AND STUDENTS

This morning saw the school principal officially launching the school level reading campaign after reading out a speech. Students then recite some poems and the event ended with a sing along and quiz. The programme is aimed at getting students to inculcate the habit of reading. Photos showing the event.

The Islamic Studies Panel had a Ramadhan quiz for the muslims students of thew school recently. This morning winner were presented with certificates and medals by the school principal during the school official assembly. Pattipan Kim, a student from the Resource Centre (RESOS) of the school took part in the championship at USM, Penang on 24 September 2011. He hauled a gold medal for 100m and a silver medal for long jump. He went on to win a silver medal in the national level 1 Malaysia Track and Athlete Championship for Special Education in Bukit Jalil Kuala Lumpur in the 100 metres race from 17 October to 21 October, 2011. Students of the school are persistently and consistently trained to park their bicycles and motorcycles in an orderly manner despite not having a bicycle and motor shed. . After years of constant reminder the school is proud to note that the students are disciplined as far as parking their vehicles are concerned. To all the students, thank you for you co-operation. This is a circular to parents of students in Remove class, Form 1, 2 and 5 regarding closure of classes during the SPM examinations for 2011.

All Form 3 students of the school were given a talk by the counselor Miss Low as regard to career path after the PMR examination. The talk was held in the multimedia room. It was also one the activities planned by the school as post-PMR activities for the students. Photos showing the event.

A group of teachers who got the APC or monetary reward for good performance and teachers who were promoted to a higher grade feted teachers and staff of the school this morning at the dining hall of the school. The fifth formers of the school organized the prom night 2011 at G Hotel poolside and it was attended by a dozen teachers and over 35 students. There were sketches, dance, games, lucky draw, prom king, queen,prince and princess contest. The food was plentiful and sumptuous. Everyone had a great time.

Students taking the PMR soon were given a special briefing on the Dos and Don'ts before, while and after the examination to prepare them mentally to face the examination. They were also given tips on what to do during an emergency. Now that the students are ready hopefully the weather would be merciful during the PMR examination week.
