PROM AND ALUMNI NIGHT 2010

The inaugural prom and alumni night was held in the school's canteen this evening and it was a success judging from the turn out. About 60 over students and ex-students plus about a dozen teachers were present. The food was scrumptious.

EX-HEADBOY IN THE NEWS
Ex-headboy of the school Dinesh Mahalingam who was in 5 Aman in the year 2001 was featured in The Star dated 18 December 2010. He is currently a full-fledge doctor and also an executive member of Penang Family Health Development Association or FHDA. To Dr Dinesh Mahalingam, the school is proud of your achievement and hopefully one day you will come back to school to give your support. This morning saw a steady stream of parents with their children in tow making a beeline to the school canteen to confirm and some to appeal for their children schooling for year 2011.
This event will continue in the afternoon at 2.45pm till 4.45pm. To all those confirming their schooling in this school we bade you a warm welcome for you have made the right choice.

Miss Banurega was officially engaged to Mr. Kesavan yesterday evening at the Waterfall Temple. Around 200 over guests turned up to witness the auspicious occasion . Some ex-students also turned up to witness and to show support. The vegetarian food served was scrumptious. To Miss Banuregu congrats and all the best as you took the step closer to your marriage. Madam Lee Lay Wah, a former teacher of the school, made headlines in The Star dated 1 December 2010, regarding a new diploma course on Orientation and Mobility (O&M) for the blind or visually impaired (BVI) at USM School of Educational Studies. Madam Lee Lay Wah who is now the Assoc Prof of USM was a teacher of the school attached to the Resos Department helping the visually impaired students.
