This morning saw the school principal presenting medals to the school players who got third placing in the recent MSSPP  Under 15 and 18 takraw competition in Kelawai Zone. A player from the school was also selected for centralised training.

This morning saw a steady stream of students coming to the school to collect their 2013 SPM results at the meeting room. Students arrived as early as 9.00 am in their jeans and various hairdo. Some event wore specially made class t-shirts. All in all they were happy to be in school and some were seen exchanging news with their former teachers.

The best overall results were 3 students getting 4s and also three students getting 3 As. Congrats to all and may you do well in life.

Yesterday afternoon saw Mr. Tan the data teacher giving an inhouse training for all the teachers regarding SAPS for the benefit especially new teachers. Teachers were given hands on guidance on how to key in marks of all the test and exam. The inhouse training was carried out in the meeting room.

This morning saw the school having its 13th cross-country run. Majority of the students turned up together with the teachers.  Before the run the students did a 10 minutes aerobic exercise led by trainees from Unirazak. The run was then  flaged off by the PTA chairman and about 8.00am. The run was a success as there was no untowards incident.

Policemen were also on hand to control the traffic while the St. John ambulance was on stand by. The run ended with prize presentation and a lucky draw. Photos showing the event.

This morning saw the official appointment of librarians for the school library. The school principal was on hand to hand over the letter of appointment to them.

Yesterday saw a teacher taking students to the chromelab to carry out her lesson using the chromebook supplied by the Ministry of Education. Students were totally absorbed in the lesson as they got to surf the net and study at the same time.

Its the weekend and some teachers held their own gathering to let down their hair by tucking in a scrumptuous lunch at a restaurant. Like the famous song in the eighties..."girls just wanna have fun..." it shows eating is a great way to destress. Keep it up !

Yesterday saw the teacher-advisers of the Girls Guide taking the girls on a shopping spree to get them ready for the dance. The dance will be held at Dewan Sri Pinang on Saturday. The guides had been practising hard for the past few weeks.

Recently saw Intel once again inviting the school to take part in their programmes under their corporate responsibility programme. Some form 5 students of the school attended the programme together with a teacher-adviser.

Recently saw the members of KRS cadets being taught how to pitch a tent during one of the meets. The acitivity was carried out in the school field under the watchful eyes of the teachers-adviser.

Yesterday saw Mr Ruzi from ICT Unit of the school giving an inhouse training of the creation and using of frog calendar to all the teachers in the meeting room. Teachers were encouraged to use the calendar to create and share events and also to book rooms designated for use in the school.

This morning saw the school having its 43rd PTA AGM at the school canteen. many parents turned up and it was such a delight to see them asking questions pertaining to the welfare of their children. The AGM ended with an election of new ofiicial bearers for the year 2014/2015.

A RESOS student of the school Kenzon was featured recently in a chinese daily namely Guang Ming Daily dated 25th February 2014. The daily praised him and highlighted his multiple ability despite him disability. To Kenzon, the school is proud of your ability and that your spirit of learning enlightened the whole school. This morning saw nurses from the Perak Road government clinic coming to the  school to give form 5 students a health check. All form 5 students were brought down to the sick bay for the check-up.

Yesterday saw the Senior Asst. for Admin giving away medals for students who represented the school for ping pong or table tennis during the recent  MSSPP 2014. The school team did quite well and got third placing. The team truly portrays the 1 Malaysia spirit as it is made  up of students of  different races.

This morning saw nurses from the Jalan Perak clinic coming to the school to give the form 3 and 5 students  a talk on health and also a health check-up. After that students were ushered into the sick bay and given the ATT injection.
