This morning saw the visit by a health officer from the North East Health Department of Penang ,Encik Mohd Zaarul giving the form 5 students a talk on Denngi and how to prevent the disease from spreading. There was a Q&A session after the talk followed by an anti-denggi exhibition in the school canteen.

This morning saw English Language teachers of the school taking turn to sit for an assessment test online at the meeting room. The test was based on grammar, listening and comprehension. Teachers were only given 30 minutes to do the test as part of the Ministry programme to boost the quality of language teaching in the country.

This morning saw the visit by Youth Jam facilitators visiting the school during the assembly and gave some information to the students as regard to the numerous challenge and contest to be held at Penang Times Square in July 2012.

This morning saw a trainee teacher reporting to the school. She is a trainee from UNIRAZAK doing practicuum for 3 weeks in the school.

This morning saw 22 engineers from INTEL coming to school to kick start the PC Pal Project officated by the school principal. The project was officially launched by the school principal with a click of the mouse.

This project is one of the projects undertaken by INTEL under its corporate community service and the school is fortunate to be chosen. The project aims to enhance the level of English among the 20 specially selected students.

This morning saw the weather in its most compromising position. It was cool and the sport day rehearsal kicked off at 7.45am. Everything went smooth sailing and the school is ready for its 39th Sport Day on 20th June 2012 at USM Stadium.

Heartist congratulations to our school Science and Maths Society members for attaining 1st and 2nd placing in the recent robotics championship held in Kepala Batas under the guidance of our capable teacher-advisor Miss Thoong YL.

The school is proud of you and your achievement. You guys have created history in the school. Keep it up. All the best in the coming national level championship to be held in Kuala Lumpur. Hip Hip Hurray !

The school hip-hop group "Unknownz" will be going for an audition at Cititel Penang at 10.00 am, tomorrow, 17th June 2012.

Parents are invited to the school to collect report cards and ask about their children studies, performance and discipline. Parents will also be given a talk on PBS.

This morning saw the school's Co-op launching the "Hari Koperasi 2012" with some specches and cutting of ribbons and planting trees. The principal also gave a speech to officiate the launch and cut the ribbon in front of the school co-op store.

English Language teachers of the school were given a briefing by Mr Tan the GK of Bahasa regarding the implementation of CPT where all the English teachers will be assessed online via a test comprising MCQ questions. The components to be tested are grammar, listening and reading.

This afternoon saw teachers and selected students turning up for the school annual sport heats. The selected students tried their level best to outdo one another and also hoping to break the school records.

This afternoon saw Form 5 Art students painting their specially bought canvas shoes with acryllic paint. The students were guided by their Art teacher Puan Watriah and the result was fantastic.

This morning saw three teachers come together to give the school teachers and staff a special lunch to commemorate their wedding bliss at the bilik masakan.

This morning saw teachers and students of the school having the annual sport day rehearsal. Despite the sweltering heat the students were unperturbed and put on their best.

This semester also saw GSTT or temporary teacher Ustaz Kamilfaez leaving the school to further his studies at a local university doing his Master. The school wishes to take this opportunity to thank him for all the help given to the school especially the students.
