KOLEJ T6 HAJI ZAINUL ABIDIN

This afternoon saw the school principal Mr Seah giving a talk on PPPM or Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia at the meeting room as inhouse training for teachers of the school.

This morning saw the co-operators of the school comprising sixth-formers having a sale outside the co-operative store. The sale will be held during the recess for four days starting today.

This morning also saw the launching of "Hari Koperasi Sekolah " 2016 by the school principal Mr Seah Soo Chye during the official school assembly. 

There will be a four-day special sale in bundles and packages. Ice-cream and float are also put on sale. It is held outside the Co-op store and will run for four days until this Thursday.

There was the singing of the so-operative song followed by a quiz where students who answered the question correctly will be given a gift.

This morning saw the launching of the month long National Day celebration school level. It was organised by the History, Civics and Citizenship and Moral Education Panels. There will be many activities where students can take part such as quiz, patriotic songs and decoration of classrooms.

The launch start with a speech by the school principal Mr Seah and followed by the symbolic handling over of flags to Senior Asst. of Students' Affair to be put up in all the classrooms.

The slogan is the same as last year which is "Sehati Sejiwa" or One Heart , One Soul.

Last night the school had its last and final Prom Night at Georgetown City Hotel before closing down in 1.1.2017. Many former students came to support the occasion. Photos were taken as rememberance and they sportingly stood up to sing the school song after the speech by the school principal Mr. Seah.

This morning saw  the school having its 52nd Prize Giving Day which is also its final one before the closure of the school. Many parents and students turned up to support the occassion. The guest of honour was the deputy PTA chairman, Encik Nor Amin.

Congratulations to all the prize winners. All in all it was a success and the finale was a sketch put by sixth formers in rememberance of the local film legend P. Ramlee.

Yesterday saw the Six Formers of the school having a potluck Hari Raya 2016 party at the school canteen. All the students and teachers has a great time eating together and sharing the food laid out on the tables.

The finale of the event was the presentation of hampers by the school principal to the best dressed male and female students.

This morning saw Unit HEM having a briefing for all form six students on the Do's and Don'ts while at school. It was carried out on the lecture.

This morning saw a big number of parents and guardians attending the Annual Family Day at the school multi-purpose hall. Parents got to enquire about children's education and achievement in school.

This morning the school teachers organised a Raya Lunch cum Farewell Lunch for Mr Azaman at the school pantry. There were Raya cookies, cake, delicacies and delicious "nasi minyak."

This morning saw a group of USM undergraduates visiting the school for some volunteer work. The group was doing a project under "ajar-ajar" programme. Among its members was a gentleman from China. They were met by the school principal Mr Seah before embarking on volunteer work in the school compound.

SELAMAT DATANG KEPADA PELAJAR USM YANG MEMILIH SMKHZA SEBAGAI SEKOLAH MEMBUAT "INTERNSHIP" SELAMA DUA MINGGU

UNTUK MAKLUMAN IBU BAPA DAN WARIS PELAJAR 

This morning saw the school holding a special assembly for Encik Azman the senior assistant for form 6 who has got his transfer back to Melaka. The English, Math and Science Panel also took this opportunity to present prizes to the winners of compeititons carried out during  the Language Week and Science Week.

For En. Azman, speeches were made and souvenirs were presented. A video presentation was also shown much to the delight of the teachers and students. The grand finale was students and teachers shook hands to wish each other "Selamat Hari Raya"

It was a fruitful and memorable assembly. To all muslim teachers "Selamat Hari Raya" and to other teachers and students "Happy Holidays" Be back to school on 11 July 2016.

TO All MUSLIM TEACHERS, STAFF AND STUDENTS

Yesterday  evening saw the Islamic Panel organising a breaking fast event at the school multi-purpose hall. teachers and students took part in the programme. The event started with a speech by the school principal Mr. Seah followed by a speech from deputy chairman of PTA En. Noramin.

The breaking of fast was announced and followed by prayers and the feast started after that.

This morning saw the school principal Mr Seah Soo Chye launching the week long Language Week for both BM and English. Many activities will be held throughout the week viz quiz, word search, write something and other language activities.

On the 27th May 2016 saw the school celebrating Teachers' Day 2016 in the school multi-purpose hall at the canteen. It was a meaningful day as the school will be celebrating this event for the last time and also it was the first time having form 6 students around to celebrate.

Members of the PTA and parents were also present to witness the event and also to witness the launching of Cleanathon 2016. All in all it was a very meaningful and fruitful day.

This morning saw the school having its 43rd Edition and also the final annual sport at the school field. Many former students also came back to witness the sport. Despite being the final annual sport before the school ceases to exist starting next year, it was nevertheless a special one too. This is because for the first time form six students also took part in the open event.

This morning saw the school playing host to this programme aptly called "Program Peningkatan BM Tingkatan 6 " for 2016. Four schools comprising Haji Zainul Abidin, TARP, Al-Mashoor (L), and PFS came with the teachers.

WELCOME TO HJ ZAINUL ABIDIN COLLEGE

Lower Six science students were ushered into the multimedia room of the school to listen to briefings regarding the science subjects offered in the school. Science teachers were on hand to provide more information to the students.

This morning saw the new lower six students divided into two groups science and humanities. The humanities students had a briefing on BM subject at the lecture hall in Block C.

Yesterday saw Pn. Tay giving the teachers of the school an inhouse training on KBAT or "Kemahiran Berfikir Aras Tinggi. In English it is called HOTS or "Higher  Order Thinking Skills" The Inhouse training was held in the meeting room.
