This morning saw four officers from the State District Education Office paying the school a working visit to look at the academic performance of the school. The admin of the school presented data and also took many questions from the floor during the Q & A. It was more of a discussion and sharing session.

This morning saw 2015 SPM students collecting their results at the meeting room of the school. There were  shouts of joy especially from those students who did not expect to do well. Majority of the students came back to get their results and some took the opportunity to have their photos taken with their teachers.

Thwo students ie. Cindy Seah and Lok Chee Hoow from 5 Aman got 8 As which a girl student from 5B  Lee got 3 As. To those who achieved good results the school wishes to congratulate you. All the best in your future endeavors.

This morning saw the school principal Mr Seah presenting certificates of merit to form 6 students who excelled in their first semester exam. The event was held during the official assembly in the school's multi-purpose hall.

This morning saw the installation of prefects for the year 2016. The principal Mr Seah was on hand to present certificates of appointment to the prefects. Mr. Tan the prefect advisor was also on hand to help in the smooth presentation of certificates.

Last Saturday also saw Sixth Former coming back to school to do a "gotong-royong" on whitewashing the walls around the school to paint murals later. It was like a community service to the school.

Last Saturday saw a big turn out for the 45th PTA AGM held at the school multi-purpose hall. The event was held together with the hand out of "Bantuan Awal Persekolahan" Early Schooling Aid) and "Hari Sasaran Target" (Target Pledge) where parents needed to be present. It was a successful event and it ended at noon.

Yesterday saw Mr Tan giving an inhouse training for the teachers regarding PLC or Professional Learning Community at the school meeting room. Teachers were encouraged to show more professionalism in their work.

As promised, yesterday saw the Principal presenting a token of appreciation to all those teachers who participated and finished the assignment given during the first inhouse training on Co-operative learning. The token of appreciation was sponsored by Puan Zahrana. The best group was group 5 led by Mr. TanHock Lye

Yesterday say teachers at the school congregating at the meeting room to attend the inhouse training conducted by Pn. Zahrana and Pn. Sayeedah on Co-operative Learning. I-think mind maps were incorporated in the learning pedagogy which is in line with the concept of 21st century classroom teaching envisaged by the State Education department.

This morning saw teachers of the school congregating at the school's pantry for a Chinese New Year lunch. A word of thanks to the school Principal Mr Seah for taking taking the lead in having this lunch.

This morning saw three marketing executives from Cosmo Point College coming to the school to give the form 5 students a motivational talk on choosing their career. The talk was held on the invitation of the Counselling Unit of the school.

Yesterday afternoon saw students of the various Sport Houses going through their first practice at the school field. It was a hive of activites as students teamed togather to outdo one another in the telematches involving various skills.

This morning saw students of the school going around the school premises and helping the teachers to spruce up the compound and surrounding areas in conjunction with the nation wide "Gotong Royong Mega Perdana" programme.

Teachers, school workers and students present worked hand in hand to rid the school of rubbish and unwanted items.

The school had its annual dinner on the 30th of October 2015 at Hotel Equatorial in Bukit Jambul. Many teachers and staff turned up for the dinner. It was a night of good food and fun.

The dinner ended after the drawing of the grand prize. Many teachers and staff also took to the stage to sing and there was also a quiz game  on the night.

KEPADA SEMUA GURU, STAF DAN PELAJAR BERAGAMA HINDU,

On October 28th 2015, the school was inundated with officers from State District Education  Department, State Education Department of Penang and officers from Ministry of Education Malaysia to discuss the formation of Sixth Form in the school. Sixth Form teachers from SMK Abdullah Munshi were also present.

After the meet there was an exchange of souvenirs and then to a simple lunch at the school's pantry.

Last week saw students from the Christian Society being presented with prizes they won by taking part in a competition among its members organised by the teachers-advisor. The winners were presented with prizes during the school assembly.

Yesterday saw Pn. Shafiqa and Encik Azman of MAKNA an NGO for the prevention of cancer in Malaysia came to the school to brief the teachers on cancer prevention in the meeting room. later some teachers pledged for monthly contribution to help fund MAKNA's programme.

This morning saw two officers from the State Education Department, Penang (JPN) Pn. Rozita and En. Sabri visiting the school and having discussion with all the form 5 teachers regarding the academic performance of the students for the trial exam.

Yesterday saw officers from the State Education Department also also from the District Education Department visiting the school to brief and discuss with parents regarding the move to SMK Georgetown, next year.

All the parents and teachers together with the special need students were at the meeting room. The meeting finished around noon with a simple lunch hosted by JPN.

This morning saw medical officers from the Perak Road district health department coming to the school to give a talk on "Good Health Without Alcohol" to all form 3 students of the school. The talk was held in the media room of the school.

Last night saw teachers and students ( present and past ) congregating at the Royal Hotel for Prom Night 2015. It was a night of fun as students and teachers took to the stage to perform and dance. Lucky draw was also the highlight of the evening.

This morning saw the school principal Mr. Seah Soo Chye offically closing the the month long Independence Day celebration with a speech during the the assembly. The principal later gave away prizes to all the winners of the various competitions held during the celebration.

This morning saw some teachers and students joining the 20,000 people all over Malaysia pounding the heritage trail road in Penang for Starwalk 2015. It was like a carnival with people all over the place and Penang Time Square jammed pack with people and nearby hawkers doing a roaring business.

This morning saw many students wearing their traditional costumes and attire to school as part of the programme for the celebration of the nation's 58th Independence Day school level for 2015.

Teachers were to submit names of students that they found most outstanding. Prizes will be given on Monday. Photos showing the event.

This morning saw a simple ceremony to honour three teachers who are on transfer to another school. The teachers are Cikgu Nurulhamida, Cikgu Nik and Cikgu Siti Aishah.

Cikgu Nurulhamida gave the teachers a scrumptious lunch yesterday. During the special assembly this morning she was presented with gifts from the school staff and teachers. To all the teachers on transfer, good luck in your new place of work and may you continue to show good commitment.

Yesterday saw Ustaz Mohd Rafie, the Senior Asst for Admin, presenting a souvenir on behalf of the school to En. Wan Zahari,  the school staff who is on transfer to another as a promotion.
