KOLEJ T6 HAJI ZAINUL ABIDIN

Yesterday was Co-curricular Day of the school where students took to the various booth set up to register for their Uniformed Bodies, Sport Clubs, Clubs and Societies for 2015. All students are compulsory to register for three activities as stipulated by the Ministry of Education.

This morning saw staff of MMU or Malaysia Multimedia University coming to the school to give a talk to fifth formers on their future career path. At the same time the staff also talked on the courses offered by MMU. The talk was carried out in the school's multimedia room.

This morning saw new students having their photos taken at the assembly area for the school data. Teachers and staff also had their photos taken for documentation purposes. The session was carried out by Mr Lee and En Ruzi.

The school wishes to bid farewell to the two teachers who had left the school to serve in other schools. They are Mr Gunaselan and Mr. Arun Mozhi. To both of them the school wishes them all the best in their new schools and may they continue to serve diligently.

The school wishes to welcome Cik Elini to SMKHZA and hope that she will adapt well to the school environment and help to improve the academic prowess of the students. Cik Elini is from Malacca and is currently under the Teach for Malaysia programme.

Boys' Brigade also took two days to promote their activities with the help of senior members from the HQ to get more students to join. BB as it is called also displayed the musical instruments used and also the medals and trophy won last year.

For two consecutive days St John Ambulance of the school actively promoted their activities and planning for 2015 so as to attract new students to join them. An ambulance was also called in to shore support for them.

Monday saw the teachers in charge of ULBS or Oral Assessment for Bahasa Melayu and English briefing the form 5 students on the preparation for the test. The briefing was held after the morning assembly.

This morning saw the school principal Mr. Seah presenting certificate of appreciation to students with 100 per cent attendance during semester 2 of year 2014 during the school official assembly. This is to encourage students to come to school every day.

This morning saw the Students' Affair Senior Asst. briefing the students who had sat for the PT3 Exam regarding the entrance requirement to Vocational College at Batu Lanchang. The briefing was carried out after the morning assembly.

This morning saw Mr Lee , the Head of Disciplinary Department briefing the students regarding the school's rules and regulations and also the Meirt Demerit System practised by the school.

Yesterday saw the presentation of school bags and uniforms to selected students under the Intel Corporate Responsibility Programme. The event took place in the office and selected students were presented with the aid.

Last Sunday saw an ex-student of the school Abdul Jalil bin Nasar having his wedding reception near his home at Jalan Makloom. It was gracious of him to come to the school before that to hand deliver his wedding invitation card to teachers of the school.

Last Saturday saw the school multipurpose hall @ canteen being turned into a grand wedding reception area for the daughter of the canteen proprietor, En. Khairuddin. It was a grand and auspicious occasion.

Many guests attended the function including some VIP, teachers, staff and support groups from the school and other schools. Relatives and famiy members from all over Malaysia came to grace the occasion.
