This morning saw the school principal Mr. Seah presenting certificate of appreciation to students with 100 per cent attendance during semester 2 of year 2014 during the school official assembly. This is to encourage students to come to school every day.

This morning saw Mr Lee , the Head of Disciplinary Department briefing the students regarding the school's rules and regulations and also the Meirt Demerit System practised by the school.

Yesterday saw the presentation of school bags and uniforms to selected students under the Intel Corporate Responsibility Programme. The event took place in the office and selected students were presented with the aid.

Last Sunday saw an ex-student of the school Abdul Jalil bin Nasar having his wedding reception near his home at Jalan Makloom. It was gracious of him to come to the school before that to hand deliver his wedding invitation card to teachers of the school.

Last Saturday saw the school multipurpose hall @ canteen being turned into a grand wedding reception area for the daughter of the canteen proprietor, En. Khairuddin. It was a grand and auspicious occasion.

Many guests attended the function including some VIP, teachers, staff and support groups from the school and other schools. Relatives and famiy members from all over Malaysia came to grace the occasion.

Wednesday saw the presentation of donation to a canteen worker whose husband was sick. It came to the knowledge of the school and Mr. Lee took the initiative to collect donation from all the teachers and staff of the school.

 It was presented to the recipient on Wednesday at the school canteen. It was in fact a noble act of human humility and compassion towards fellow being.

Yesterday night saw a very good turn out of teachers and staff to the school 2014 annual dinner held at the Vistana Hotel. It was organised by the staff room organisation or SRO.

Yesterday morning saw the Resos Panel and Perdagangan Panel collaborated and organised a talk for  the benefit of the students. They invited an officer from Consumers' Association of Penang (CAP) to deliver a talk on consumerism.

Yesterday saw promotors from Amaniz Management Sdn Bhd coming to the school to promote their latest software aptly named "CariKata" during the weekly staff meeting. It was quite a useful tool especially for students with its multiple uses and dictionaries.

This year saw the Reading Camp or "Kem Membaca" being carried out on two days during the assembly. The first was reading of old newspapers by the students and then followed by a quiz.

The second session was a quiz on proverbs in Bahasa Malaysia. Prizes were also given to each student who gave the correct answer. The school principal also read a simple speech to officiate the event.

Last Thursday all form 5 students congregated at the school canteen at 11.50 am to listen to the final briefing on the dos and don'ts before, during and after the SPM exam. All the admin and discipline teachers took turn to address and advise the students. The principal wrapped up the briefing with a short but memorable speech.

Last Thursday morning saw a team of 5 Intellers arriving at the school to conduct their programme under the Corporate Responsibility Programme for the year 2014. Before then programme, Intellers and students were treated to a scrumptious breakfast at the canteen and later adjourned to the computer lab to continue with the robotics programme.

After the session again they were feted at the canteen with a delectable lunch. The school wishes to thank the Intellers for taking their time off to conduct this programme. Photos showing the event.

Last Wednesday afternoon also saw teachers of the school having an inhouse training on 1M1S at the meeting room before proceeding to the courts to have the practical session there. A few of the teachers who went for the respective courses stood as facilitators.

Last Wednesday saw the History Panel of the school organising a motivational workshop for all the form 5 students who will be sitting for the SPM exam the following week.

Yesterday saw Ms. Arutchelvi together with Mr. Tan conducting the annual English Language Games for the students at the multimedia room. Students were put through various situation where they had to identify the mistakes and correct them. At the end of the session, successful students were presented with a token of recognition.

This morning saw a facilitator from a nearby school coming to the school to give a talk on how to answer the SPM Maths papers. The talk was held at the meeting room. Students taking the paper were selected to attend the talk.

Introducing the school mini reflexology path which took shape under the effort of students and teacher-advisors of Consumer Club or Kelab Pengguna using funds allocated by the Ministry of Education. It will be launched son once the finishing touch is added to it.

This morning saw two young marketing officers from Disted College penang coming to the school to promote to the form 5 students regarding their latest courses on offer. Students were briefed and given insight into the various programmes conducted by disted College.

Last week saw the school principal, Mr. Seah SC giving teachers of the school a briefing on the latest programme by the Minstry of Education at the school meeting room.

Teachers were told they have to finish 25 modules by year end. Teachers were then put together into various groups with a mentor each. Photos showing the event.

This morning saw the school principal Mr. Seah, presenting a folder with pens and pencils to the students' rep for form 3 and 5. The writing materials are to be used during the coming PT3 and SPM exams.

Citywalk 2015 is here again. Teachers and students are encouraged to join this healthy activity as a way to celebrate new year on a clean slate. Forms can be downloaded below . 

Closing date for registration is 1 November 2014. The walk is on the morning  of 1st january 2015 at the Esplanade, Penang. Fee is only RM10.00 with a free t-shirt and lucky draw.  The nearest place to submit the form is at Delta Extra, Gembira Parade Greenlane.

Yesterday afternoon saw a facilitator from a neaby school coming to the school to give a motivational talk to the form 5 students at the multimedia room of the school. Students were given tips on handling  paper 1 and paper 2 of the impending exam questions.

Banyak bahan berbentuk soalan dan jawapan Peperiksaan Percubaan SPM 2014 negeri lain dimuat dalam portal education blog ini.  Sila gunakan untuk menyediakan diri sebelum SPM 2014 pada bulan November.

To help form 5 students who will be sitting for the 2014 SPM, the school has taken the inisiative to give more focus to them via this flexible timetable starting 29 September 2014.

This morning saw a marketing officer from Inti College, Penang dropping by the school with offer of scholarships to the form 5 students of the school. Students with good trial SPM results were encouraged to apply.

This morning saw 4 Intellers coming to the school to conduct one of its programmes under their corporate responsibity project. Selected  students had their breakfast at the school's pantry before the start of the programme at the meeting room.

This morning saw teachers and students of the school together with a sea of people congregating at the Penang Time Square for the 2014 Starwalk. The weather was most promising, cloudy and cool. During and after the walk there were performances followed by a lucky draw.

Yesterday saw members of the Hindu Society visiting a temple in Gelugor to partake in a motivational cum blessing event organised by the teachers-advisor of the society. Members were taken by a bus to the temple and the event lasted till noon.

All in all it was a fruitful event and hopefully it will boost the confidence of the students to do well in their studies.

This morning saw the school principal officiating the closing of the month long National Day celebration for the school. The event was specially held at the school's multi-purpose hall at the canteen. 

 The principal gave a closing speech followed by the presentation of certificates and prizes to the judges of the various competitions viz drawing, singing, class decoration and sport camp.

Yesterday was a day for the Resos Department as 4 of its students took part in the school level patriotic Songs Singing Competition at the canteen. Despite being physically challenged they took to the stage to sing their heart out for the love of the country. Kudos to them and also the Resos Department of the school especially the teachers there.

Yesterday saw the visit of an officer from the State District Education Department to the school to observe the briefing to teachers by the school principal regarding the implementation of the new assessment of teachers or PBPPP ( Penilaian Bersepadu Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan). The briefing was held at the school's meeting room.
