Panitia Agama Islam sekolah telah mengadakan satu ceramah Isra' dan Mikraj pada pagi tadi  di bilik surau sekolah.  Pelajar- pelajar agama Islam sekolah ini terlibat termasuk guru-guru Islam juga. Ustaz Suhailmi dari Unit Agama Islam JPN telah dijemput untuk memberi ceramah.

Yesterday afternoon saw Mr Lee the sport secretary of the school giving teachers an inhouse training and a short workshop on the nitty gritty of standard sport to be carried out next week. The events include short putt, high jump and long jump.

Teachers were in apt attention during the inhouse training and questions were field during the Q&A. All in all it was en enlightening seminar cum workshop.

This evening saw Pn. H'ng having her wedding reception at Cititel Penang. many teachers turned up for the wedding dinner together with her friends and relatives. The guests were treated to a scrumptious meal and entertained by a live band.

The school once again thanked Pn. H'ng for the invitation and wished you a happy and harmonious marriange. Photos showing the occasion.

This morning saw Intellers coming to the school under the IIMGP 2013 programme ( Intel Involve Matching Grant Program) and also in conjunction with the PC Pal Programme. Intellers being the mentors met their  mentees, the students of the school.

After the meeting, the Intellers did their corporate social responsibility part by cleaning up the school book loan room and also the Living Skills workshop. Photos showing the event.

Teacher H'ng Hai Hua wedding dinner will be on the 8th June 2013 at Cititel Penang. The school takes this opportunity to wish her a happy marriage and may you find love and happiness every day.

This morning saw teachers and students gathered at the assembly area to celebrate 2013 Teacher's Day with the theme 1 Aspiration 1 Agenda. The celebration started with the singing of the national anthem followed by the state anthem and school song. There were speeches and then telematch. 

The teachers were treated to a simple meal at the school's pantry. All in all it was a fun and memorable celebration. Thanks to all the organising committee members for making this event a success.

This afternoon saw Ms. Sue from Ipoh Perak giving a seminar to all the teachers entitiled Fire Prevention and Awareness at the meeting room. She also shared with the teachers various fire safety equipment for saving lives and the do's and don'ts before and during a fire.

The school wishes to record a word of thanks to her for her time and effort in conducting this enriching seminar.

This morning saw the visit by the school's SIP Partner coach, Encik Ruslan bin Shamsudin from IAB, Jitra Kedah. The aim of the visit was to gather feedback from the Panel Heads of the school as regard to further improve the academic achievement of the students.

This afternoon saw teachers and support staff going through a practical session of the 1 Murid 1 Sukan programme. Teachers including the admin and trainees from USM and UniRazak sporting donned their PE attire and went through the whole programme despite the sweltering heat.

A form 5 Bakti student of the school, Eric Yeoh  had passed away due to an accident yesterday. The school wishes to extend its heartfelt condolences to his family. Funral is tomorrow, i.e. Tuesday.

Yesterday saw En. Mohd Akhdan of the school giving a talk on 1M1S which is to be implemented throughout the year at the meeting room.

After that Puan Norhidayah briefed the teachers on the implementation of SEGAK a form of assessment tool for Physical Education.

A few days ago saw, Encik Nik Muhamad Badrul, a Kelantanese, reported  for duty at the school to replace Pn. Shakira who is on maternity leave. The school bids you a warm welcome and 'Selamat Datang.'

HAPPY VESAK DAY

This morning saw a group of students from USM to promote the 'Plastic Free Zone' Educational Awareness Campaign. They are from the ECOTEAM or Secretariat of Sustainability.

It is a movement to eliminate all plastic bags, polystyrene, and plastic containers. They left with a banner for the school made from recycled material.

This morning saw the upper secondary students comprising Form 3 , 4 and 5 students going to the field to gather  points for their respective houses. The weather was good and the students were raring to go after a warm session. St John ambulance members were also on hand to help with minor injuries.

This morning saw a heavy downpour early in the morning. Standard Sport 2 will be postponed to : 2 MAY 2013 (THURSDAY)

This morning saw lower secondary students comprising Remove Form 1 and 2 students successful carrying out the standard sport. The weather was cool and ideal. Tomorrow will be the upper secondary students' turn to do the standard sport.

This afternoon saw the Girl Guides of the school having floral arrangement as one of their activties. A floral expert was roped in the facilitate. It was held in the school canteen.

This morning saw nurses from the district hospital visiting the school and giving Form 3 students anti-tetanus jab. Form 5 students were also given health check by the nurses at the sick bay of the school.

Yesterday saw the school principal Mr Seah SC presenting certificates of participation to students who took part in the "Forum Remaja" or Teenage Forum. It was undertaken by Encik Abdullah who accompanied the students.

This morning saw the school successfully carried out its 12th cross-country race among the various sport houses. The weather was kind and there was no untowards incident and injuries. The PTA chairman and some of the committee members also turned up to support the event.

Last Wednesday saw the members of the 'Kelab Memasak' or Cooking Club making 'Char Koay Teow' under the guidance the their teachers-adviser Cik Noratika and Encik Aliff. Many students turned up to learn and to show their 'masterpiece'

Last week saw a facilatator from Kuala Lumpur coming to the school under the invitation of the Counselling Unit to give a motivational talk to Form 3 and Form 5 students. The topic was how students can score an A for Bahasa Malaysia in PMR and SPM examinations.

This morning saw Encik Asmadi from the Penang Sport Council or MSN coming to the school to give a brief talk on Weight Lifting to Form 2 and Form 3 students. Some potential students were selected after a short trial.

This morning saw a temporary teacher reporting to school to start her duty to fill in for Pn Rosnah. Her name is Cik Siti Fatimah from Penang. Welcome and hopefully you will do a good job.

This morning saw the school principal presenting letter of appointment to all the librarian in the school. Thereafter the librarian took an oath of office in front of all the students and teachers.

This morning saw a dentist from a government clinic visiting the school and giving a talk to students about dental care and healthy gums. The talk was held at the multimedia room. Students of various classes took turns to attend the talk.

Yesterday morning saw Encik Haszrul reporting to the school to carry out his duty as a teacher replacing Encik Norrizan Wahit who went on a transfer to PPD Timur Laut.

This morning saw a lady teacher reporting for duty. She is Cikgu Noradliyah  from Penang Island. She is replacing Ustazah Nurul Haswani who is going on transfer.

This morning saw the school principal presenting the bronze medal to Chong Chee Hwa of 3 Bakti for second runner-up in the recent tournament in the single's category. Certificates of participation were also presented to those players who took part in the tournament.
