Two members of the St. John Ambulance cadet attended the jamboree at "Pusat Kegiatan Ko-kurikulum" or Co-curricular Activity Centre in Bukit Mertajam from 25th to 30 June 2010. Many uniform units from outside the neighbouring countries with exception of Singapore came. Cadets from Vietnam, Laos, Brunei and Kampuchea attended this jamboree. Activities such as hiking, trekking, competitions. marching, A&D, kayaking and flying fox were carried out;j ust to name a few. Photos showing the event.

The Islamic Society of the school had a treasure hunt for its members recently. Members were given a list of items hidden around the school to find. The group with the most item found was given a prize.

Members of the St. John ambulance of the school had their holiday camp recently at the school ground. Many turned up for the camp with many activites in line for them such as marching, team competitions and various games. All in all it was a healthy way to spend the holidays. SPRING ROLL ANYONE ?
Kelab Remaja Sekolah or aptly known as KRS organised a "Popiah" or spring roll making in the bilik masakan or home science classroom of the school under the guidance of the teachers advisor.
The end result ? Yum , yum delicious spring roll all around. Photos showing the KRS members making and consuming "Popiah"

Recently three cadets from the school went to a camp in Lipur Forest Reserve at Bukit Panchor, Nibong Tebal, Seberang Perai Selatan. They were accompanied by their teacher advisor. Besides learning team work, they also learnt the nitty-gritty of camping on top of proper marching techniques.

A team of students took part in the audition of High School Musical, The School Rocks dance contest at TAR College this morning. Despite the fact that the dance routine was carried out with utmost energy sapping moves and fun variations, it was not good enough to win the hearts of the judges. The school is proud of the students and may you use your newly gained knowledge for future use and competition. Cheers!

OPEN DAY 2010
The weather was great and the turn out for the Open Day was also great. Many parents took time off to go to school to collect their children's examination report and also asked about their behaviour and discipline.
All in all it was a great day for the school as the Open Day serves to inculcate good rapport and camaraderie between the parents and the school. Keep it up and the school can do even better with the support of the parents and guardian.

The school is represented by a team of dancers for this event and the audition will take place at Tunku Abdul Rahman College this Sunday at about 10.00 am
