KOLEJ T6 HAJI ZAINUL ABIDIN

This morning the school's prefects gave Pn. Tay a surprise. A special assembly by the prefects was to celebrate her birthday.

A simple cake yet meaningful cake cutting ceremony was held followed by the presentation of a hand made birthday card.

Thanks to all the prefects for their kind thoughts. It was surely a morning Pn. Tay would remember and cherish for life.

Pictures showing the special event. All in all "it is the thought that counts."
Keep it up.

Recently a group of students went to RTM Penang in Burmah Road to attend a workshop for budding DJ. This workshop was organised by TRAXX.FM

Various activities were carried out at the studio. Pictures showing the activties held at the studio.

This year a golden boy from the school created waves at the recent MSSPP gymnastic event. Jeremiah Loo of Remove Class made a clean sweep of six gold medals from various events such as vaulting, floor exercise, still rings, pommel horse, parallel bars and balance beam and was declared the overall individual champion.

Congrats to Jeremiah. Despite his pint size, he is surely an Olympian in the making.
All the best to you.

Once again Goh Kah Hong from Form 3 took part in a swimming event during the recent MSSPP at PISA, Penang. Due to his own effort he won a bronze medal. The school helped to register for the meet.

Picture showing Goh receiving the medal from the school's principal, Mr. Goh. Congratulation Goh Kah Hong, there is still room for improvement.

A group of students from 5 A and 5 B took part in a Maths quiz at Universiti Sains Malaysia recently.

They were presented certificates of attendance by the school principal, Mr. Gan during the official Monday assembly.

The anti-dadah campaign for the school level came to a close on Friday 12.2.2010 Before that a quiz was held and students were asked questions based on the 5 minutes daily briefing.

Students who answered with the correct answers were given prizes. The campaign ended with an oath taking both by the teachers and students.

It was a successful campaign. Stay healthy. Stay away from drugs.

Scouts who were on duty during the 2009 Penang International Bridge Run held at Queenbay Mall were presented with certificate of appreciation by the school's principal.

Hopefully more scouts will come forward to help again at the end of this year. Well-done !
