KOLEJ T6 HAJI ZAINUL ABIDIN

RIMUP stands for Rancangan Integrasi Murid Untuk Perpaduan. Translated into English it means Students' Integration Programme For Unity.

RIMUP 2009 was held at SMK Haji Zainul Abidin and 4 other schools in the group also came viz SMJK Heng Ee,SMKA Al-Masyhoor(L), SMK Convent Greenlane and SMK Penang Free.

RIMUP is a programme set up by the MOE to encourage the involvement and cooperation of the local community,teachers and students for activities using the same facilities, apparatus,skills and manpower.

The objective is to create Malaysians with knowledge, special abilities and capable of facing challenges collectively.

Various activities were carried out mainly to foster goodwill and unity and also to inculcate the spirit of patriotism among the students of various races. Activites such as Futsal, Mural Painting, Telematch and Chess Competition were among the activities carried out.

All in all, it was a fruitful day of fun and fellowship among the students. At the end of the programmes the students were given certificates and prizes.

The month of October 2009 was declared the National Language Month by the Ministry of Education. Schools were requested to hold programmes during the month.

Many activites were held in the school such as quiz, poetry recital, mass reading and various other related activities. The activities were supervised by teachers from the Bahasa Malaysia panel.

Students took the opportunity to participate in the activities carried out in the school.
