PROGRAM DI AMBANG MERDEKA 2013

This morning saw the school reverberated with patriotic songs as teachers and students alike were ushering in the nation's 56th Independence Day. Speeches with messages from the government were read. Shouts of 'merdeka' also eachoed the entire assembly area.

LDP -RELAXATION 2013

Yesterday saw Mr Gunaselan giving a talk on relaxation at the meeting room as part of the in-house training programme for the teachers. Information shared were on relaxation muscular relaxation training and also on physiotheraphy and backache. Notes were also given as reference materials. It was an informative talk and the information can be helpful to those who need them.

PENYERAHAN CEK KARNIVAL ST NICHOLAS 2013

This morning saw two high ranking officers from St. Nicholas Home viz Mr Daniel Soon, Executive Officer and Miss Eileen Khoo TSS Manager, visiting the school at the Resos Centre for a simple cheque presentation ceremony. The school especially the Resos Centre helped to sell RM4,000 worth of coupons for the 7th September St Nicholas Home (SNH) Carnival 2013.

KUIZ BULAN KEMERDEKAAN 2013

This morning saw the students of the school doing the quiz questions in their respective classes in conjunction with the month long national Day celebration. The quiz was organised by the Hostiry Panel of the school. Prizes will be given to the best 3 top scorer of every form.

MALAM JASAMU DIKENANG 2013

Last night saw the prefects of the school being feted at the Northam Hotel. Many teachers and prefects attended the dinner hosted by the school in appreciation of the prefects' responsibilities shown in school. There were lucky draws and also performances by the prefects after a few speeches.

MAJLIS PERASMIAN BULAN KEMERDEKAAN 2013

Yesterday morning saw the school principal officiating the celebration of the month long National Day during the school assembly. A symbolic handling over of the Jalur Gemilang to the Senior Assistant of Stduents' Affair was carried out to be distributed to all the classes via the form teachers.

All the teachers, staff and students of the wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the school principal Mr. Seah Soo Chye on the passing on of his beloved father yesterday. We shared your grief and hope you and your family will remain strong in this trying time.  Funeral will will be on Tuesday 27 August 2013.

EX-STUDENT ALSO APC RECIPIENT 2012

Ex-student of the school Mr. Ng Kah Hong was also amomg the 450 plus teachers in the North-East district of the island being conferred with the Excellent Service Award or APC this morning at the Sunshine Square Banquet Hall in Bayan Baru. He is presently teaching at SK Sri Aman in Air Itam. Congrats and the school is proud of his achievement.

ANUGERAH PERKHIDMATAN CEMERLANG 2012

This morning saw 4 teachers and a support staff of the school receiving the Excellence Service Award at the Banquet hall at Sunshine Square from the Penang Director of Education and other officers of the education department. Congrats to the recipient and hopefully it will inspire many more teachers to to take flight to greater heights.

This afternoon saw teachers attending an inhouse training Cyber  Safety given by Mr Ruzi  where many tips were shared as regard to avoiding unnecessary problems with adware, malware, virus and so on. It was a very informative session held at the meeting room.

JAMUAN HARI RAYA 2013

This morning saw teachers, staff and support staff of the school gathering at the school pantry to have a small Hari Raya feast organized by the the school staffroom organization or SRO. It was a simple feast yet very meaningful as a way to cultivate good camaraderie among the staff.
