This morning saw the school's counsellor, Pn Wan and the facilitator from PTPL College Ms Loh joining forces to give the students matters regarding application to polytechnic and aslo tips on how to prepare for the impending SPM examination.

TAKLIMAT KURSUS KEMAHIRAN INFOGENIUS 2012

This morning saw Mr Tan from Infogenius dropping by the school to give the Fifth Formers of class 5 D and 5 E about the industrial training course offered by Infogenius in the field of Megatronics.

Students were also told that there are now four places available to be made to students who are keen and qualified.

MAJLIS SAMBUTAN HARI KEBANGSAAN KE 55 PERINGKAT SEKOLAH

This morning saw the whole school assembled at the aseembly area to usher in the country's 55th Independence Day. The programme started with speeches followed by a poem recital.

Then the whole school reverberated with patriotic songs sang together by the teachers and students. The programme ended with shouts of "Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka"

KARNIVALSAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI PERINGKAT NEGERI PULAU PINANG 2012

The school recently took part in the Science Carnival held at SMK Nibong Tebal, Seberang Perai Selatan in the Solar Car and Solar Boat Competition under the guidance of the capable teacher-advisor.

The students who took part won silver medals in the Solar Car while in the Solar Boat they won the bronze medals. To the teacher-advisor and students who took part, congratulations and may you continue to bring more honours to the school. Well-done!

PELANCARAN BULAN KEMERDEKAAN PERINGKAT SEKOLAH 2012

This morning saw the school principal Mr Seah Soo Chye, launching the month long National Day celebration for the school level.

Many activties will be held throughout the month namely raising of the jalur gemilang, classroom decoration contest, patriotic poetry recital, sinbging of patriotic songs, quiz and many other activties co-organized by the History Panel, Civic and Citizenship Panel and the Rukunegara Club of the school.

MAJLIS BERBUKA PUASA 2012

This evening saw the Islamic Studies Panel of the school hosting a 'Majlis berbuka Puasa' or Breaking of Fast Programme at the school canteen. The guest of honour was the PTA chairman Encik Nanyan and many teachers turned up to support the programme.

All in all it was a fruitful annual programme. Hopefully next year more teachers will turn up. Photos showing the event.

LDP OPEN SOURCE DAN DASAR ICT KPM 2.0

This afternoon saw En. Ruzi the teacher-in-charge of ICT in the school giving a workshop on ICT and Open Source software. Many teachers were very engrossed with both the topics as it touched on freeware and also on the Ministry of Education stand on ICT among teachers.

This saw Madam Loh from PTPL College coming to the school and gave a talk on Career Guidance and also offering 10 scholarships for aspiring students to further their studies at PTPL. She also gave a brief introduction of MSC University campus in Shah Alam and the courses offered in their ultra modern premises.

Pada pagi ini Panitia Pendidikan Agama Islam sekolah telah mengadakan satu ceramah berkaitan Nuzul Quran. Ustaz Muhd Shukri telah dijemput untuk mengendalikan ceramah tersebut. Gambar menunjukkan ceramah itu diadakan di surau sekolah.
